The market of steam condensation turbines has been studied for the required capacity parameters of 12-25 MW. Research has been conducted using a program package for heat flow design of power units implemented with flexible, adaptive model elements. Design was conducted for summer and winter cogeneration plant operation conditions with account of fees for hazardous emission to the atmosphere when combusting different fuel: coke gas, pulverized coal fuel with coke gas ignition, and a water-coal suspension. The results can be used for implementing energy-saving and nature conservation activities involving the installation of small-capacity turbines at enterprise power units and utility boiler rooms.
