The aim of investigation – to study prevalence of malignant neoplasms among rural population and to develop ways of improving the quality of oncological help giving to patients diagnosed with cancer. Methods of investigation – medical informatics, descriptive epidemiology, system and component analysis. The state of granting oncological help to rural population, material and technical base, staffing of medical-preventive institutions giving health care, demographics, specifics of malignant neoplasm's incidence distribution in rural population of contaminated areas of Ukraine have been studied. The steadfast decrease in number of patient's beds and in number of qualified personal of medical-preventive institutions has beenestablished.The significant defects in organization of medical-diagnostical process among rural males with malignant neoplasms have been established. This is confirmed by high level of neglected cases – 21,83%, one-year mortality – 40%, and low level of the special treatment's coverage – 56,3%.The study of malignant neoplasm's incidence among male, female and children rural population of Ukraine is continuing.
