Determination of pH slips with the use of рН-meter pH 673, determination of rheological properties using the digital Brookfield viscometer LVDV-II+ Pro, standard methods of determination of the open porosity, apparent density, bending strength and thermal shock resistance. Researches of influence of different deflocculant on properties of aluminous slips, castings and standards of corundum ceramics with different additions of oxides made by slip casting in gipseous forms are carried out. Optimum content of deflocculant, at which slips characterized satisfactory fluidity and stability, that provides forming of the high-quality castings and allows to extend the source of raw materials for the production of corundum ceramics is established. It is planned to continue work in the direction of further perfection technology of production of corundum ceramics by slip casting in gipseous forms, including with the use of new deflocculant, and also in the direction of expansion of places of application of corundum ceramics.
