The purpose of the work is production technology improvement of silica-alumina low cement concrete mixes. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, physical-mechanical and thermo-mechanical ones. The comparative researches of the influence of different dispersing agents on the properties of low cement mullite corundum and fireclay concrete mixes have been carried out. It has been determined the possibility of application of dispersing agents of "Castament FS-10" and "Castament FW-10" in the optimum quantity in the composition of low cement mullite corundum and fireclay concrete mixes as well as the use of dispergators/deflocculants, namely "Dolapix FF-6" or "Dolapix FF-7" in the optimum quantity in the composition of low cement fireclay concrete mix, instead of traditionally applied additions like "ADS-1", "ADW-1", "Castament FS-10", "Castament FW-10" which will allow to broaden the source of raw materials in thecourse of low cement concrete mixes production. The pilot lots of low cement mullite corundum of "СМКНЦБ" and fireclay "СШНЦБ" of the concrete mixes containing dispersing agents of "Castament FS-10" and "Castament FW-10" in the optimum quantity have been produced, their properties have been determined and the industrial tests have been carried out. The application for the proposed invention has been submitted. In accordance with the existing normative documentation the pilot batches of low cement silica-alumina concrete mixes dispatched to the customers have been produced in the pilot production of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy". The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of low cement concrete mixes including the use of new dispersing agents.
