The purpose of the work is technology improvement of cordierite containing products by method of extrusion. The research methods are physical mechanical, chemical ones. The researches of the dependence of masses plastic strength on their dampness and aging time have been carried out. The optimum dampnesses and critical mass holding time for tubes molding with the diameter of 20 mm (ШКДТ-1) and the tubes with diameter no less than 20 mm (ШКДТ-2) which allowed optimizing technological parameters of cordierite products production have been established. The pilot batches of fire clay cordierite products and of cordierite ceramics have been produced in the volume of financing for 7 enterprises of Ukraine. The products properties correspond to ТУ requirements. The pilot batches of the products have been dispatched to the customers in the full volume.
