The purpose of the work is concrete mix composition reprocessing. The research methods are thermal and physical mechanical, chemical and petrographic ones. The laboratory researches on production technology improvement of concrete mix of corundum silicon carbide composition have been carried out. The influence of substitution of black silicon carbide and white electrocorundum for carbon containing reconditioned silicon carbide and normal electrocorundum has been researched. It has been established that black silicon carbide substitution for carbon containing reconditioned silicon carbide and the use of normal electrocorundum instead of white electrocorundum provide obtaining corundum silicon carbide concrete with properties indices corresponding to the acting standards of ТУУ 26.2-00190503-219-2002 with alteration №1 which will allow widening the source of raw materials for concrete mix production. The comparative researches ofresistance to copper bath influence of corundum silicon carbide samples of initial and new researching charge compositions have been carried out. Through researches it has been established that the resistance of corundum silicon carbide concrete samples based on normal electrocorundum to copper bath is 1,1 time higher than the resistance of concrete samples from the initial charge. Corundum silicon carbide mix composition has been determined. The pilot sample of the concrete based on optimum mix composition has been produced and its properties have been established. The pilot batches of corundum silicon carbide concrete mix of КККБС have been produced in the model shop of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy". The work shall be continued in the line of production technology reprocessing of corundum silicon carbide concrete mixes with the purpose of production reduction in price and widening the use of concrete mixes in aggregates of metallurgical industry.
