Increase of SIgA in biologic fluids,e.g. saliva in respiratory infection (diphtheria , bacterial meningitis), copro-filtrates in acute enteric infection testifies the adequacy of local defence mechanisms. SIgA deficiency is revealed in severe forms of diphtheria and local reparative processes delay. In acute enteric infections, SIgA facilitates the localization of intestinal inflammatory process and prevents extraenteric translocation of causative agent. The positive effect of enteric and local application of dispersion of fine silica sillard-P as a component of complex treatment of infectious diseases in children has been proved.
