The aim of the work: elaboration of fundamental foundations of theory, mathematical models construction and numerical investigation of energetic parameters of the systems men-tioned above. The method of investigations: solving Maxwell equations taking into account boundary conditions on the metal and adjacent air-dielectric surfaces. The problems of determining scattering parameters of waveguide-slot discontinuities mentioned above are solved using various kinds of approximation functions for description elec-tric field in the slot and various kinds of accounting the waveguide walls thickness. The physical properties of thesesystems are analyzed on the base of calculation results. The results of investigations can be used in the process of radiation systems and feeding devices units construction.
