The natural submergence is delineated on the specialized geomorphologic map and underground water table one as well as on the submergence map from satellite imagary data over Kyiv city. The general changes of underground water table and aeration zone are connected with the technogenic intervention into the geological environment. The optimal complex of traditional and remote sensing methods to monitor the submergence conditions into the urbanization areas are developed. The findings have the prospects in the application of the monitoring systems into the geological environment of Kyiv as well as in the solutions of submergence risk management problems in the metropolitan agglomerations.
