The method of investigation – deformation of metal with constant rate at low temperatures, statistic investigation of low temperature load drop deformation. The peculiarities of low temperature load drop deformation in pure Al have been investigated. The values of load drop, drop density have been analyzed as a function of sample geometry. The influence of sample geometry parameters on values that characterize unstable plastic flow – magnitude and density of load drops have been studied. The analyze of thermomechanical processes during unstable flow has been carried out. The local volume in which the break of dislocations develop and lead to load drop has been calculated.
