Complex researches of composition and properties of organic and mineral parts of the selected coals are conducted. The distinctions of technological properties, petrographic and structural descriptions of coals of Donbassa, both between separate brands and within the limits of every brand are discovered. That allowed to pass to development of quantitative estimation of their technological and consumer value as components of coal charge. The trial coking of experimental charge are conducted for determination of coefficients of technological value of components of source of raw materials.
