Especially it is related to the increase of coal part from east coal pools in a charge composition for coking. Comparison of actual granulometric composition and most optimum compositions of charge is conducted. The most suitable terms of grinding of initial charge and granulometric composition of the shredded charge, at which a density of charge bulk weight will be maximal, are certain. On results the conducted work developed recommendation in relation to the technological chart of charge preparation which will allow promoting evenness of coking capacity properties, closeness of charge bulk weight and will improve quality of coke.
