The types of coals notably differentiating on a complex indexes, reflecting their composition, structure and properties are exposed. Composition of base charge was developed taking into account the actual source of raw materials of coke-chemical plants of Ukraine. An output and quality of coke and also output of coking products was determined. Findings were used for the calculation of coefficients of technological and consumer value of the analysing coals.
