It allowed to create the theory of eigenmodes propaga-tion in regular waveguiding structures of UHF and SHF ranges and in optical systems. The solutions of series diffraction problems by system of strips places in the same plane in the plane waveguide were found. The eigenmode problem of partially shielded hybrid metal-dielectric structure was formulated and solved. The possibility of radiating structure creation based on circular metal-dielectric structure with slot discontinuities was investigated. The fiber-guide excitation methods were investigated. The series of physical experiments with the help of modern instruments based on auto-mated measuring platform with effective computer software were carried out.
