Department of psychiatry popup.description2 It is determined that prevalence of primary arterial hypertension (PAH) in school age children and teenagers of Zaporozhye city makes 8,3%. The most abundant PAH risk factors in examined children were overuse of salt, hypodynamia, overweight and tobacco smoking. Frequency of familial cases of PAH was 33,8% at the mother line and 16,3% - at the father line. 23,4% patients had burdened heredity at both lines. Clinical presentation of labile arterial hypertension in children practically did not differ from clinical presentation of pre-hypertension, i.e. vegetative dysfunction of hypertensive type. Peculiarities of cerebral hemodynamics were determined.
