The article of research consists in the analysis of existing protective systems of load-lifting cranes in deadlock sites of a way and failures of load-lifting cranes from low reliability of these systems. The purpose of research is an increase of service life of load-lifting cranes and maintenance of their safe operation according to requirements НПАОП 0.00-1.01-07. The executed preliminary calculations of arrival of the crane with a load on supports of deadlocks show small energy intensity of operating supports and their unreliable work connected with it.
