The changes do not correspond with indices of mass of body. It was defined that patients with chronic hepatitis and ones with hepatic steatosis almost had no differences in indices of functional state of liver. Majority of patients with chronic hepatitis had levels of serum aminotransferases of minimal activity. According to retrospective data gained by outpatient examinations in 1993-2003 hepatic dysfunctions had persistant current. Enlargement of liver and changes in lipid metabolism were the most constant signs. Characteristic of early stages were reduction of protein synthesis of liver and dysproteinaemie, and cytolisis was added later.
