The purpose of the work is mastering the production technologies of new dimension types of refractories for glass furnaces. The research methods are chemical, physical-mechanical, spectral, petrographic ones. The production technologies of new dimension types of refractories: mullite pressed products for arch lining, mullite corundum deformation resistant vibrocast plates of feeder canals overlapping, mullite corundum thermal resistant vibrocast high shaped feeder products and other elements of glass furnace linings have been mastered. The constructions have been developed and the shapes have been produced, pressing and vibrocast parameters have been worked out, drying and firing modes have been selected, the products of new configurations and dimension types have been produced. The technical documentation has been worked out. The pilot batches of mullite, mullite corundum deformation resistant and thermal resistantrefractories for glass furnace lining have been produced. The work shall be continued in the line of assortment increasing and perfection of high alumina refractory technology of new configurations for glass furnaces.
