Study goal: To define the possibilities for the combined use of the information resources of the most powerful population registries for the correct estimating of the cancer incidence in those suffered following the Chornobyl accident. Linkage of the SRU and NCRU DBs was realized. As a result the data file was received containing the probable cases of the malignant neoplasnis in the clean up worker. Matching probability was assessed, false positive matching were removed from the file. Differences were identified and information losses were assessed. 369 of 635 cancer cases registered in the SRU (2002 - 2006 рр.) are input in the NCRU DB. Histological verification of the rest of cases is doubtful. 14 of the 28 registered in the SRU leukemia cases(2000 - 2006 рр.) are in the NCRU DB, 31 of 60 registered in the SRU Thyroid Cancer cases (1997 - 2006 рр.) are confirmed by the NCRU. The most detailed technology of the registries interaction is presented in the data files for the most sensitive to ionizing radiation neoplasm: Leukemia and Thyroid Cancer.
