One of problems which dares in work it is exceptions of the human factor in researches weld materials (piece electrodes) at definition of stability existence of the arc category, elasticity of an arch and the parametres of industrial characteristics of electrodes connected with these. In work the original technique of definition of stability of process of manual electroarc welding is developed by piece electrodes on which basis the complex factor of stability of the arc category which unites technological and power parametresof the arc category is offered and allows to exclude subjective factors at testing welding materials. The carried out researches of stability of process of manual electroarc welding by piece electrodes have given the chance to offer specification of modes of welding of electrodes of marks МR-3, АNО-36, АNО-4, АNО-21 and АNО-6.
