The purpose of the work is scientific research and ground of theoretical aspects of enterprises finances functioning, problems of risks in bank activity as well as the development of recommendations referring optimization financial activity of enterprises and process of estimation and management risks in the banks of Ukraine. The research methods are a dialectical method, principle of logic and system analysis and synthesis; formalization and economic and mathematical modeling, statistical and graphic analysis, methods of financial analysis. In the process of research theoretical generalization of economic categories, related to the risk is conducted, and the new ways of solving scientifically applied tasks which cover analysis process optimization and regulating bank risks are offered. The basic principles of the effective functioning of enterprises finances and peculiarities of enterprises finance functioning are formulated. The enterprises of different forms of ownership are considered. The results of the conducted research concerning the analysis of risks in bank activity have a theoretical and practical value for the increase of efficiency of functioning of the banking system. The value of the received results of research is based on the methods and procedures of estimation, management and control of key types of risk, which allow banks to promote efficiency of their activity.. The results of the conducted research concerning the analysis of principles of enterprises finances functioning have a theoretical and practical value for the increase of their profitability and providing steady economic development of the state. The value of the received results relies on the ground of basic principles of the effective functioning of finances of enterprises. The substantive provisions of scientific research are expounded in the form of suggestions and can be made to order for their introduction in practice of domestic banks and enterprises, and also higher educational establishments, where disciplines are laid out in industry of finances and banking.
