Results of measuring mass concentration of pollutants in waste gases of sintering machines of the enterprise are given. Emission points in sintering production and gas cleaning systems are considered. Based on the study we determined the portion of each pollutant in total emissions from the particular technological process. It is shown, that development of technological specifications is expedient for the capital equipment - sintering machines (sintering zone and cooling) on the pollutants, as follows: suspended solid particles, sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide, carbon oxide. The work is being implemented at nine iron & steel works of Ukraine: JSC "Arcelor Mittal Krivoi Rog", JSC "Zaporozhstal", JSC "Iron & Steel Works named after Ilyich", JSC "Iron & Steel Works "Azovstal", JSC "Southern Ore Mining and Processing Plant",JSC "Enakievo Iron & Steel Works", JSC "Nikopol Ferroalloys Plant", JSC "Alchevsk Iron & Steel Works".
