The diagrams of anionic forms distribution in the solution have been built. The concentration and thermodynamic formation constants of individual isopoly tungstate and mixed isopoly niobotungstate anions have been calculated. The laboratory procedures of synthesis of the individual isopoly tungstates with Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Pb2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and mixed isopoly niobotungstates with Tl+ were elaborated. All the salts synthesized have been characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, X-ray powder diffraction, and DTA. Direct X-ray single-crystal study of Co5[W12O40(OH)2]•37H2O was done.
