Measures aimed at reducing emissions from points, where there is excess of maximum permissible discharge (MPD) as well as from other emission points with excess of MPD on a boundary of the normative sanitary protection zone (SPZ) were developed. Actual SPZ and design SPZ were calculated taking into account the developed measures on decreasing emissions up to the level of maximum permissible concentration, which does not exceed normative SPZ. Based on the performed work substantiating documents were prepared for obtaining a permit for emissions released into atmospheric air by stationary points at JSC "Dnepropetrovsk Iron & Steel Works named after Petrovsky". The documents were recommended by the Ministry for Environment Protection to the Public Administration for Environment Protection in Dnepropetrovsk regionfor issuance of the permit for emission.
