On the basis of clinic and psychologic studies (with the use of modern questionnaires) 150 patients with chronic course of psychiatric disorders (schizophrenia, affective disorders) the definition of "chronicity" was proposed, the genetic, socio-cultural, psychologic (behavioral) predictors of the development of chronicity were found out and the methods of their prevention and treatment were proposed introduced for clinical practice. 28 articles and one practic manual based on the results of this scientific investigation were published.
