The purpose of the work is the revision of chromic oxide refractories technology, the mastering of corundum-chromic oxide-zirconium-silicate refractories with the increased content of Cr2O3. The research methods are chemical analysis, standard determine methods of mass content of moisture in mixes, open porosity, apparent density, cold crushing strength of refractories. A deluting addition - polyethylene glycol polymerization product - positive influence to increase the density of green with simultaneous reducing the moisture of shaping mix during pressing chromic oxide refractories samples on hydraulic press was established. The optimal concentration of temporary organic binder, providing receipt of high-quality green chromic oxide products and reducing the time of drying and firing products in ~ 2 times as compared to products made using the previously applied binder was established. A composition of chromic oxide batch for the production of products by semidry pressing method was elaborated. Technological parameters of vibrocasting with simultaneous shaping mix vacuumising of large dimensions chromic oxide products with increased thickness from grain mixes were elaborated and manufacturing technology of these products was mastered during producing of a refractories trial lot. The technology of manufacturing a new production - corundum-chromic oxide-zirconium-silicate refractories with increased content of Cr2O3 was mastered.
