Head Khonchik I., Registration Date 16-02-2009 Organization The open joint stock company " The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named A.S.Berezhnoy" popup.description2 The research subject is mullite corundum ramming mixes, dry corundum and corundum spinel mixes, mullite corundum mortar. The purpose of the work is production technology reprocessing of high alumina ramming mixes, dry mixes and mortars. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones. The researches of the influence of silicon carbide addition quantity on ramming mullite corundum mix properties have been carried out. The optimum quantity of silicon carbide addition has been determined. The use of the silicon carbide addition allows increasing samples thermal shock resistance ~ 2 times more and their slag resistance (slag penetration is absent) in the comparison with samples from traditional mix of "MMK-88". As a result of carried out researches the production technology of new kind of product (mullite corundum mix with silicon carbide addition of "MMKK") has been developed. The influence of chrome addition (chromium oxide or scrap of chromium oxide refractories) quantityon dry corundum and corundum spinel mixes properties has been researched. The optimum quantity of the indicated chrome addition has been determined. The use of the indicated addition allows increasing refractoriness of the dry mixes (~ by 40°C) and samples slag resistance from the indicated mixes ~ 1,3-1,5 times more in the comparison with samples from traditional mixes of "CK" and "CKШ". As a result of carried out researches the production technology of new kind of product (corundum and corundum spinel mixes with chrome addition of "CKX" and "CKШX") has been developed. The indicated mixes can be recommended as a lining material for induction crucible furnaces with meltable metal temperature more than 1650°C. The influence of boron acid addition quantity on mullite corundum mortar properties has been researched. The optimum quantity of boron acid addition has been determined. The use of the indicated addition allows increasing strength of the mortar of "MMK 85-1" (~ by 30 %) and, accordantly, increasing wearsresistance of techcarbon production reactor lining. In OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of mullite corundum ramming mixes of "MMK-88" and "MMKПБФ", dry corundum and corundum spinel mixes of "CK" and "CKШ", mullite corundum mortar of "MMK 85-1", which are intended to metallurgical and machinebuilding plants of Ukraine, have been produced. The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of ramming mixes, dry mixes and mortars. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
