The aim of this research - improving the technology of heat-insulating castables with anorthite, calcium hexaluminate and calcium silicate aggregates. Methods of research - chemical, petrographic, physical-mechanical, thermal-physical. The effect of additives different factions of expanded perlite on the insulating properties of castables with anorthite microporous aggregates brands AL-0, 8 is carried out. The possibility of use perlite fr. 5-1.16 mm replace earlier used fr. 2,5-0,16 mm in castables is shown. Samples of castables were apparent density to 1.3 g/cm3 and crushing strength of at least 3.5 MPa. The influence of the type of aggregates calcium hexaluminate made without additives and with aluminosilicate addition, the insulating properties of castables are carried out. It was found that the aggregate with aluminosilicate additive can be used for produce of insulating castables with the apparent density 1.7 g/cm3, crushing strength 9,3-9,6 MPa and service temperature of up to 1450 °C, that allowed us to obtain a new type of heat-insulating castables. Research has been conducted to obtain the insulating castables with calcium silicate aggregates and two types of cement binder. The optimal structure is founded, which provides after 7 days of wet hardening, crushing strength 17.7 MPa at the apparent density of 1.7 g/cm3 and after heat treatment at 1000 °C - 6.2 MPa at the apparent density of 1.52 g/cm3. Castables with calcium silicate aggregate are promising for use in pouring aluminum. A study to obtain the insulating castables using aggregates from scrap refractory light-weight brands ShL-0,4 is carried out, the battle of light-weight refractory brands MKRL-0,8 and debris haydite. It was found that the composition with aggregate from the scrap ShL-0,4 provides a castables, with the apparent density 1.26 g/cm3 and crushing strength 12.9 MPa after 7 days of hardening. Using claydite fraction of the best received new type of heat-insulating castables with the apparent density 1.15 g/cm3 and crushing strength 8.3 MPa. Castables these compounds can be recommended for use as insulation units with service temperatures of up to 1200 °C in oxidizing environment. Comparative studies the properties of castables samples using fused corundum as a placeholder, and cements the CA-270, Gorkal-70, Secar-71 and VGTS-73 as binders are conducted. It was found that strength in line with performance indicators, as determined by the method prescribed in the TU U 26.2-00190503-274:2005, and on how close to DSTU EN 196-1. According to the contracts with companies in Ukraine experimental batches of insulating castables mixers brands SANBT-0, 8, SANBT-1, 3, SGAKBT-1, 6 and high-alumina cement brand VGTS-73 are produced.
