The purpose of the work - a study of international standard ISO, EN on refractory products, development and statement national standard, standard specifications (ТУ) and changes to ТУ on refractory products. Six national standard projects, harmonized with international standard ISO, are designed: ДСТУ ISO 5016 "Shaped insulating refractory products. Determination of bulk density and true porosity"; ДСТУ ISO 5017 "Dense shaped refractory products. Determination of bulk density, apparent porosity and true porosity"; ДСТУ ISO 21587-1 "Chemical analysis of aluminosilicate refractory products (alternative to the X-ray fiuorescence method). Part 1: Apparatus, reagents, dissolution and gravimetric silica"; ДСТУ ISO 21587-2 "Chemical analysis of aluminosilicate refractory products (alternative to the X-ray fiuorescence method). Part 2: Wet chemical analysis"; ДСТУ ISO 21587-3 "Chemical analysis of aluminosilicate refractory products (alternative to the Х-ray fluorescence method). Part 3: Inductively coupled plasma and atomic absorption spectrometry methods"; ДСТУ ISO 8894-2 "Refractory materials. Determination of thermal conductivity. Part 2: Hot-wire method (parallel)". 15 standard specifications, 23 changes to acting ТУ, including: on serial produced refractory products, made enterprise of the Ukraine, - 8 ТУ and 14 changes to ТУ; on initial lots of refractory products, that are producible by institute, - 7 TУ and 9 changes to ТУ, are designed and approved. Comparison with the best foreign analogue, to raise the level of the standard specifications on refractory products, is organized for all ТУ. Normative documentation, in accordance with got demand, is given to refractory and metallurgical enterprises. Internal audits of the institute managerial system of quality, in accordance with requirements of ДСТУ ISO 9001-2001, and audit the subdivisions of the test centre, in accordance with requirements ДСТУ ISO/IEС 17025-2001, are organized.
