The purpose of work - development of compositions and technologies of synthesis of ceramic pigments of wide color scale on the basis of slags of various metallurgical productions at rather low temperatures. Thus used grain-size, chemical, X-ray phase and differential thermal methods of the analysis of hallmarks of slags, pigmentary batch and the synthesized ceramic pigments. By the carried out complex of physical and chemical researches it is established the crystal phase. It is revealed expediency of carrying out of processes of beating of metallurgical slags in ball grinders and optimal water-ground time for each of the slags given by the customer who provides simultaneously high indexs on a yield of a pigmentary part and the general iron in conditionally magnetic component is established. For the first time the opportunity of synthesis of ceramic pigments in systems steel-smelting slag - Сr2O3 - NiO and steel-smelting slag - Сr2O3 - CoO is established and proved at temperature 12000С, which introduction in rather small amount (6 mas. part) provides reception during furnacing glaze coverings with wide color scale and high quality indicators. Two flow diagrams are offered, allowing to reclaim scorias of steel-smelting productions, processing them in expensive ceramic pigments.
