On the basis of such analysis more perfect (complete) conception of economic development, in which small business plays the special role, is offered; the necessity of reconsideration of its functioning mechanism for market economy conditions is proved.For determination of its role in the decision of socio-economic problems are recommended quantitative and qualitative measures, which disclose the place of small business in structural reorganization of national economy, change of the qualitative description of GDP, increase in quantity of workplaces, raising of employment level and common weal.
