The project "State program of clinical pharmacy development in Ukraine" was developed. Conceptual model of quality management in health care in Ukraine, which provides for the active involvement of clinical pharmacists have been developed. The basic approaches to the development and using of the formulary system in Ukraine were scientifically founded, the role and place of clinical pharmacist in this process was defined. A model of clinical pharmacist activity in the future system of medical and pharmaceutical insurance has been elaborated. Methods of influence on the order drugs prescribing was analyzed and standardized, the most important of them for Ukraine, which should be considered in forming the national concept of rational drug therapy were identified. The fundamental approaches to settle drug-related problems were scientifically founded and for the first time developed, their influence on efficiency, safety and quality of pharmacotherapy of type 2 diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, rheumatoid arthritis was assess. The basic components of pharmaceutical care in pharmacotherapy of bronchial asthma, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, oriented at physicians, medical staff, patient was identified for the first time. The clinical pharmacist activity in a family physicians system was developed for the first time. The possibility of optimization of pharmacotherapy cost and providing of its rationality, recognition of adaptation to social and economical status of patient and real possibilities health care system have been shown on the basis of results of clinico-economical and pharmacoeconomical analysis of antimicrobial therapy of chlamydial urogenital infection, pharmacoprophylaxis of stress ulceration of digestive tract, alternative operation of cholelitiasis, therapy of acute vascular pathology, of atherosclerosis with allopathic and homoeopathic preparations, parenteral nutrition.
