The research goal is to determine ways of improving thermal technical, economical and ecological characteristics of a gas-jet grinder and technological equipment for transporting and processing the bulk materials. The research methods: mathematical and physical modeling the processes, calculated evaluations of thermal gas dynamical processes characteristics, engineering and search developments of new engineering solutions, gas dynamical experiments using facilities of a high-pressure research complex. Experimental investigations of processes of gas-jet grinding the different solid bulk materials using modern instruments of the USI-20 experimental plant are carried out. Data about correlation bounds of gas dynamical and acoustical characteristics of grinding are obtained. Rational lines for super-fine grinding the different solid bulk materials in a high range of physical properties, in particular, considering the hardness, the density and the viscosity, are determined. The advisability of the use of an annular nozzle to deliver the lifting working mass of the gas-jet grinder for a number of technological processes using super-fine powders is valid. A mathematical model for gas-jet grinding in the grinding chamber on a basis of a stochastic approach to modeling the process is developed. An algorithm for evaluating the obtained analytical solution is proposed. A preliminary technique for calculating parameters of gas-jet grinding the bulk materials and the facility for acoustic and emission monitoring the process are created. Technical solutions for preparing an experimental base for investigations of the process of gas-jet transportation of the bulk materials are developed. Tests for transporting the bulk materials are conducted, some mechanisms and devices for a new test bench are improved. The obtained results will be used for acoustic and emission monitoring gas-jet grinding and transporting the bulk materials.
