The goal of the research is to study regularities of specific high-temperature flows considering phase and physical and chemical transformations. Experimental investigations of the influence of an air-cocurrent flow and the propellant composition on the ignition process by using the results of a numerical simulation. The calculated-analytical and experimental method is used. The effects of the turbulence-combustion model on regularities of the flow through the channel with subsonic high-extension zones are studied depending on initial intake conditions by using a cruise-propulsion calculated algorithm with the method of global pressure iterations. Conditions of initiation of self-exited oscillations through channels are numerically investigated with physical- chemical and phase transformations. Conditions of initiation of self-excited oscillations resulted from a mass addition and the presence of a vapour dispersion phase are revealed. Reference data for calculations of non-steady flows of gas-filled propellant components in thruster supply lines are formulated. A mathematical model is tested by the example of continuous and pulse operational modes of the developed system of the Cyclon-4 launch vehicle control engines. A three-formulation program of calculations of gas dynamic processes in the thruster combustion chamber is developed when propellant components are supplied in the form of separate jets. The program is tested by comparing the calculated results with known data. A laboratory-scale plant for experimental investigations of the effects of design and mode parameters on the combustion process of the gas propellant is developed. The effects of basic design and regime parameters of the laboratory-scale plant on the ignition-combustion process of a gas mixture are tested. Software for calculations the flow through channel, when a hydrocarbon fuel is ignited and burned in an air-cocurrent flow, is improved. The obtained results will be used to formulate the research problems at the last stage of the study.
