Research purpose - cost-functional optimization of perimeter security sensors networks characteristics by development of specialized computer aided design system. Followings tasks are solved to achieve the research purpose: analysis of perimeter security design tools and assessment of technical-economical indexes of typical security networks for determination of main research directions; determination of perimeter security improvements ways and argumentation of network quality estimation criteria; development of new optimization method which is based on genetic algorithm; development of perimeter security computer-aided design software; Research methods - cost-functional analysis, morphological analysis, methods of multicriteria optimization. Results and their novelty: It was developed the specialized computer-aided design software which is using different methods of optimal decisions search and allows to find better decisions in limited time. The method of Pareto-set initial approaching kept on developing in the genetic algorithm which is solving multicriteria task of extreme combinatorics and is based on initializing of pseudorandom generator, specialized algorithm of pseudorandom generator data reflections into the task arguments area and algorithm of elements reduction by rule of minimum surplus.
