The aim of the research is to find out the power inputs of different methods of animal housing. The analysis of the data showed that in stall housekeeping power inputs are by 4.6 and 1.6 times higher than in indoor and outdoor housing. Total specific power inputs of fuel are higher in outdoor housing, it is caused by larger part of hard work in stall housing. At the same time increase of labour inputs in milking, in feed preparation and its distribution take place. In total, power inputs for 1 metric centner of milk in stall housing are higher than in outdoor housing by 1.5 time and in pasture by 1.3 time. As a resullt of the research a methematical relation between the total power inputs of the technological procedures has been been found.
