Methods of researches - chemical, petrographic, X-ray method.Additional researches of general properties level of fired (at temperatures 1580, 1680, 1750оC) corundum samples with the additive 5, 10 or 15 % of Cr2O3 in carbon-containing area (without direct contact to carbon) were carried out. As a result of change studying of the general properties level of the mentioned samples after additional heat treatment at temperature 1580оC within 18 hours in carbon-containing area (without direct contact to carbon) the optimum quantity of Cr2O3 additive entered into composition of corundum samples, and also suitability of fired corundum refractories with Cr2O3 additive for application in carbon-containing area are established.By results of the researches executed in 2008, in the present work the normative documentation is developed: ТУ У 26.2-00190503-320:2009 which are regulating properties level of fired corundum and corundum-chromic containing products for technical carbon production reactors and ТИ 24-ИО-178-2009 for manufacture of these products.By results of the lead work it is developed, approved and put into operation ТИ 24-ИО-168-2009 (instead of ТИ 24-ИО-96-2003 with changes №1, 2). In OJSC "URIR named after A.S.Berezhnoy" the advanced manufacture technology according to ТИ 24-ИО-168-2009 of low-cement corundum concrete with new plasticizing additive Castament FS 60 + Castament VP 95 L are mastered and the raw-material base for manufacture of this concrete is expanded.In OJSC "URIR named after A.S.Berezhnoy" trial lots of products are made: traditional and low-cement corundum concrete mixes, and also mullite-corundum products. This refractory production is put to consumers on internal and a foreign markets (export to the Russian Federation).The work should be continued in a direction of the further technology improving of fired corundum refractories with additive of Cr2O3, and also technology of low-cement corundum concrete and expansions of volumes of application of these refractories.
