The number of theoretical, methodical and metrological problems of distance-time sounding systems development are considered with the purpose of studying of electrical and magnetic properties of geological media. The basic mathematical apparatus for distance-magnetic soundings with iductive and galvanic methods for field initiation. The problem of calculation of integral magnetic characteristics of layered media on the basement of asymptotic representation of effective magnetic parameter in the far zone of source of field initiation is considered for the first time. The method for estimation of anomalous effects of magnetic parameter, caused by horizontal geoelectrical heterogeneity of geological section when applying galvanic initiation of field, is represented. The approximative approach of tomography, which characterizes geological section resolving both gravity and magnetometry inverse problems, is considered. The new task of integration of pedomagnetic and magnetometry data for pedomagnetic modeling is resolved. The advantages of environmagnetic investigations for estimation of ecological state in cities and industrial regions are considered. The hydrogeological model of Lugansk city is improved concerning ecological safety. The space-time tendencies for development of negative exogenic processes on urbanized territories are analyzed.
