The aim of the work - verifying and updating mathematical models, methods, algorithms; analysis of the worldwide space rocketry trends. The research methods - systems analysis, mathematical modeling, techniques of optimization, numerical methods, multivariate statistical analysis, information and analytical method. The results obtained -the mathematical model and algorithms for evaluation of parameters of liquid engines (performance, geometry, dimensions, mass) are developed and verified; the results of calculation for liquid engines under development are compared with liquid engines in use for different rockets;full-fledged conceptual model of bank of knowledge based on using test-case base and on limit generation method is developed to be used in critical space technologies; in the framework of group data handling method criterion for quality of statistical classification for two classes with different statistical properties of distinction is developed allowing to enhance description and forecast of technical system status under ambiguity; worldwide trends of space activities, space technology and space transportation systems are found out; worldwide trends and directions of innovative development of space communications systems are found out.
