The paper includes some methods: finite element method, method for evaluating the life on the base of straight line theory of damage accumulation, high-cycle fatigue theory, and conceptions of linear fracture mechanics. The obtained results can be applied at HPS of Ukraine for designing and modernization of hydroturbine equipment for the purpose of accident prevention.
