The aim - to improve technical characteristics of piezoelectric and pyroelectric sensors based on ferroelectric polymers by improving modes of electrification on the basis of studies of the physical phenomena of the polarized state formation and relaxation under various conditions. Methods of study - the electrification of the films in a corona discharge and in a strong field, measuring isothermal and thermally stimulated polarization and depolarization currents, the method of current-voltage characteristics, the method of the piezoelectrically generated pressure step, the study of pyroactivity by quasi-static and dynamic methods. Novelty - it has been shown for the first time that the spatial inhomogeneity of the polarization due to the influence of the injected charge, results in the substantially uniform polarization if the field is close to the coercive value. Implementation - the main parameters of electrification, such as field strength, temperature and time of electrification were established and justified. Practical recommendations were developed and formulated, such as the necessity of multiple switching of polarization in a strong field after the initial electrification (molding) to provide high and stable residual polarization; Scope of use - design of various kinds of sensors and gauges, teaching courses of general physics and physics of dielectrics.
