The structure of crystals of Li2B4O7 is investigational in a temperature area 10-290 K. The obtained results testify to temperature stability of tetraborate groups in this temperature range. The cathodoluminescence (CL) of isovalent substituted Li2B4O7 :А (A= To, Cu and Ag) single-crystals was investigated. It was established that the basic mechanism of CL of undopped Li2B4O7 is annihilation of autolocalized exitons (ALE). The models of centers and mechanisms of CL fluorescence in the Li2B4O7 : А single-crystals were proposed.
