Families of crownophanes, in which fragments of 2,7-dioxyfluorenone, stilbene and azobenzene is connected by residiues of di-, three- and tetraethyleneglycols are synthesized. The methods of synthesis of catenanes are developed by the selfassociation of fluorenonocrownophanes containing the fragments of stilbene and azobenzene with paraquat derivatives. It is shown that the yields of catenanes increases with multiplying the size of cyclophanic ring. In the crystalline state explored catenanes exist as one transmission isomer, in which cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene) fixed on the fragment of stilbene or azobenzene.
