The modern diagnosis and prognosis have significant importance in the management of the effective therapy. There was done the attempt to determine the changes of the gene expression in breast fibroadenome with the intraductal proliferation and intraductal adenocarcinoma which was aimed to find genes that could be used for diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer. The changes of gene expression were found for 125 genes in breast adenocarcinoma vs breast fibroadenome with the intraductal proliferation. There were obtained the results allowed to determine the genes of Wnt-pathway while their methylation could be used as the marker for the diagnosis of breast cancer. There are such genes as DKK4, PYGO1, WIF1, SFRP5. We found the frequent methylation in Dkk4, SFRP5, WIF1 genes in this study. Furthermore the most expressed inactivation was observed in Dkk4 gene (65%). Our results approved the presence of total or partial methylation of Wnt antagonist genes in breast cancer and suggested that the loss or decrease of their function facilitates the alternative activation of Wnt pathway.
