The rotation period around own axis of the yellow giant beta Geminorum (Sp K0 IIIb) was established to be equal to 491.5 days, while the variability period of radial velocities is 592.9 + 0.6 days. Apparently, this difference is due to an orbital movement of a planet with mass near 2.9 Jupiter masses around the star. оn the basis of the last 10-15 year publications the Catalogue of dwarf stars with various displays of solar-type activity is compiled.
