Examined and sampled plant family Cucurbitaceae of two natural zones of Ukraine: mixed forest (Kiev region) and forest (Poltava region). Established that during the period from 2006 to 2010 in these agricultural lands CMV, ZYMV and Watermelon mosaic virus 2 (WMV 2) were circulated. Their circulation had a wavelike character, which is associated with the ways of their transmission. From vegetable agrocenoses were isolated the viruses as CMV, ZYMV, WMV2, and BrMV. It was shown that the basic properties of Ukrainian viral isolates did not differ substantially from those described in the literature, strains and isolates of these viruses. Highly purified viruses used as a positive control in indirect ELISA. Also, a group of authors published and implemented 5 methodical recommendations.
