The work purpose is development of agrarian sector of agrarian and industrial complex on the basis of an intensification of manufacture and increase of competitiveness of the agricultural enterprises. Theoretical results of work are based on working out of the concept of maintenance of steady positions of competitiveness of the agricultural enterprises by means of introduction of the mechanism of strategic management. Methodological approaches to formation of an effective strategic set of the agricultural enterprises are proved. It is improved the organizational-economic mechanism of maintenance of their competitiveness, based on application of modern progressive innovative technologies of activity in each functional sphere of managing. Practical results are the substantiation of the maintenance of strategy of functioning and working out of a complex of strategic actions on maintenance of competitiveness of the agricultural enterprises.
