The wide spectrum of independent methods used for this explanation estimate the efficiency of the stability of living organisms' development, of amphibious and reptiles in particular. These methods are based on main approaches (ecosystem, populational, morphological, genetic, rhythmics of age processes, estimation of the efficiency of the immune system) which characterize different structural and functional levels of living organism. The changes uncovered by these approaches undoubtedly testify the rejection and can be considered as the indicators. The conducted analysis of fluctuating asymmetry of amphibians populations showed that most asymmetric signs and the highest coefficient of asymmetry is observed in reservoirs which are exposed to intensive anthropogenic influence. It is set that during last 15 years the index of the stability of development with the use of reptiles is considerably increased. Morphological anomalies of amphibious and reptiles are discovered and the analysis in space and time is conducted. The importance of age-dependent structure of populations is exposed as the indicator index. The preliminary list of species-indicators is given. It is confirmed that in spite of the importance of carrying out the estimation of the quality of environment on all levels using different approaches a priority should be placed on biological estimation.
