A sample of the transistor converter "ВЧИ-20" for metal's inductive melting (alloy on the base of iron and cobalt) with 20 kW power under frequency 22 kHz is worked out and manufactured. The converter exhibits high efficiency, provides output current control, has system of automatic frequency's tuning and protection from breakdown events. It permitted to provide necessary technological regimes under wide - band changing of load parameters.
