The interpretive features of objects of agricultural landscapes and land use systems are defined and the logical scheme of environmental assessment of agricultural landscapes based on satellite imagery and technological schemes of automated image classification are developed. Methodical recommendations for agri-environmental assessment of agricultural landscapes and land use systems using traditional ground-based and remote sensing observations are given.
